• Basic analytics (pages visited, feature usage).
• Device and browser information for compatibility.

Payment data

• Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.

• To provide and improve the Steady service.
• To personalise interview guidance based on your resume.
• To process payments and manage your account.

• To maintain security and prevent abuse.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with:

• Stripe — for payment processing.
• AI model providers — interview transcripts are sent to AI providers (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic) to generate responses. We send only the minimum data needed.
• Infrastructure providers — for hosting and service delivery.

5. Data retention

• Account data is retained while your account is active.
• If you delete your account, your data is soft-deleted and retained for a limited period for compliance and support purposes, then permanently removed.
• Session transcripts are stored as long as your account is active.

6. Your rights

You can:

• Access your data through your dashboard.
• Delete your account and associated data from your profile settings.
• Request a copy of your data by contacting us.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest. However, no system is completely secure.

9. Children

Steady is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18.
